Orderly Week

Run the house one week at a time

Orderly Week is a printable home system. It runs the house one week at a time, on paper. Each page has its own short steps written on it, so you know what that page is for.

Once a week, you do the Weekly Reset. It takes about 20 minutes, on a day you choose. You pick the week's three must-dos, the things that have to happen. You see which zone of the house is due for a deeper clean. You check the house lists for what ran out and what is coming due.

Once a day, you do the 10-Minute Method. Set a timer. Clear the surfaces in the rooms people walk through. Do the day's one cleaning task. Take one small step on a must-do. Set out the keys and bag for tomorrow. When the timer ends, stop.

The checklists hold the memory, so the planner only has to hold the week. There is a cleaning list for each zone of the house, a seasonal list, a pantry list and a page for bills and renewals.

Nothing is dated, so a missed week is skipped, not failed. You do not go back and fill it in. You pick up with one 10-minute block, and the next reset comes on its usual day.

This site is new. Pages on each part of the method are being added, along with a free printable Weekly Reset Page.
